Thailand Part Deux

Blizzards for $1!!! No kidding. 30 baut is equal to 1 dollar. Actual bamboo scaffolding. Couldn't quite capture this image correctly, but in front of the lady on the left were two little girls. It was like an open air family car. Waiting patiently... Pink hair?? Yes please! Mya's turn. One tricked out tuk-tuk. We enjoyed a dance party. Sandy  beach, poolside. Hmmm. Claire conquering the waterslide. She went down countless times. Suntanning? Trying to blind us? Enjoying life in paradise? Not sure. Mya, catching water to dump on me. Her plan went, well, not so according to plan. Ha.  Getting ready. Go Mya! I love this picture. Fresh fruit each day? Yes, please. Big monkey 1. Whackadoo!

Paradise in Phuket, Thailand

OH yes. Welcome drinks while we checked in. Our room. Gigantic bathtub? Yes, please! This bathroom was really a part of the room. It had huge sliding wood doors that partitioned it off from the bedroom. I'd love that in a master suite someday. A lotus. Shrines to Buddha featured fresh food every morning. Our room featured a private swimming pool. You can see the edge just under the  canopy. Downtown Karon. The first couple of days were overcast with occasional 15 minute showers. I thought we were doomed. Tuk-tuks. Our primary mode of transportation. We should just be thankful for the space because it was a normal sighting to see 20 (not exaggerating) people in the back of a pick-up truck.  RIding in style in the tuk tuk. CLaire in the tuk-tuk. Mya in the tuk-tuk. Our resort. Orchids. Awww. Beautiful. Our resort from above. Overlooking the ocean. These leaves were enormous. S
