Progress..

Long time no writing. My apologies. Chris and I have been very busy. We had a productive weekend which has motivated me to have a very productive week. First, we sifted through the tubs and tubs of baby clothes that Lisa and Phil sent. Needless to say, our child is going to be set for her first couple of years of life. Good news for us and our wallets! On Friday and Saturday Chris put up a closet organizer in our master bedroom. We have begun sifting through our own clothes to make the move to our new closet. It will be the first time since moving in that our clothes are in one spot. Progress! I sanded the trim in the hallway upstairs and the master bedroom. Monday was our relaxing day. We went to a movie and dinner with some friends. Tuesday I caulked the hallway trim and spot primed the woodwork, Wednesday painted the trim, and Thursday I painted the hallway walls. All in all, alot has been done in a short time. I am thrilled. Now we just need to finish the walls of the foyer, the

Blimp?!!

We had an ultrasound yesterday, which turned out to more than just an ultrasound...The baby is doing great. She is developing well, somewhat cooperated (they had to do an internal ultrasound to examine her face), and was confirmed to be a girl. I think I may be giving birth to a 40 pound baby as I am still wearing some of my normal clothes. The weight must be going somewhere. I have told more and more people at work this week, much to their surprise. They claim they couldn't tell at all. Perhaps they are just too kind to say I am gettin

Laying in bed last night, Chris and I watched a commercial that sums up our life with baby. It says something like "when you have a baby, your life changes." I probably didn't get close to what it actually says, but that is the synopsis. Anyway, we are slowly realizing this will be the case. I came to work today and immediately, two colleagues commented on my hair. I, for one, have not been pleased by my hair, so maybe it was a polite comment truly meaning the opposite. Not sure. My response was, "oh, thanks," while in my head I was thinking, is it the lack of a haircut, which results in the lack of a style or is it the dark shade that my hair has acquired since becoming pregnant (also contributing is the fact that whatever highlights I had in my hair are long gone)? I have developed a belly-somewhat all of a sudden. I will have to post pictures. I am experiencing back pain. Probably due to the fact that my already large boobs have become larger and my back can&
