Bowling FUN

We had a great weekend. The kind of weekend where we had few plans and a lot of enjoyable family time. The kind of weekend that you hate to see go!
Forgive the poor picture quality. I only had my ipad with me....
Drew and Claire

Claire and Mya--she started out using the ramp, but after a few tosses she was throwing the ball down the lane by herself.

Makenna.

These two girls shared a lane and took turns so well! I was very proud of Mya.

I think she is pretty proud of herself too! She LOVED bowling.

Not a good pic of Makenna. Mya wanted to hurry up and get down to business, so I didn't have a chance for a retake ;)
Mya has a great little friend at school. She and Makenna are joined at the hip. Lately when I've picked Mya up, Makenna runs over to me and says, "Mya come to my house." Well, Stacey (Makenna's Momma) and I arranged a little play date, which worked out wonderfully. We opted to meet at the bowling alley for a little playtime fun. Makenna has a 5 year old brother who proclaimed that he and Claire were on a date. Ha! The date lasted nearly 4 hours! Time truly flew by us. It was great having some adult conversation while our kiddos basked in the joy of goofiness.

The Morris' are heading to Langley next, which is a top runner on our list. It would be wonderful if our paths crossed again. They are such good people.

Looks like fun! Coincidentally, we also went bowling this weekend for Rory's birthday, and I just bought that same outfit for Abby at Kohl's, yesterday! It's as if we share a brain, I tell ya ;P The girls look so happy, and are getting so big! Anxious to hear your orders, I hope it's somewhere you love!

Progress

I used to be prompt about scrapbooking in Claire's album. After seeing my sister's pictures piled up three children later, I was determined not to have the same fate. I am sure it is difficult for some of you to believe, but since Claire has been born, my free time has been limited. Really, it has. So, our pictures are finding their way into piles too--5 to be exact. However, I am thrilled to say that I finished (ok, they aren't completely finished, but nearly. I only have journaling to do.) six pages. Yes, that's right, I said SIX!! It was a major accomplishment. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Only 5 more months left to get through....any volunteers? Jessica???

A post

You wanted it, you asked for it, so here it is. A post. Hopefully this post will satisfy all your desires. I am not writing about the apple of my eye, Claire, but of the other apple of my eye--reality tv. I love it! Right now I am getting my fill of Big Brother. I have even lured Chris into my dark place. He mostly watched last season because Dick was such a jerk, but Chris is hooked. He's a dedicated viewer once again this season. Sadly, he was a fan of Matty who was kicked off a few weeks ago. I don't think I have a favorite. I find them all to be so obnoxious, yet I watch. Go figure. I obviously need some more excitement in my life. Girls who wear butt showing shorts, screaming matches, verbal abuse, crazy eyes, back stabbing, boys running around in their colored tighty whiteys (if tighty whiteys are colored, are they still called tighty whiteys?)---all in one episode! It is a gold mine. My second can't miss show is Housewives of Orange County or New York City. I really

4 months

We are potentially down to our last four months in Korea. I say "potentially" because it rests solely on where we are going. If we are heading back to the States, we will most likely be leaving early June so that we can enjoy a full summer with family and have time to get settled before Claire begins school. We caught wind today of what could be our next assignment. Although it is far from official word, all of a sudden my tummy is filled with butterflies. I had the privilege of teaching a little first grade girl who was one of a set of quadruplets. They (she and her sisters) are the most delightful little girls. They are well behaved and truly beautiful inside and out. Anyway, their family was due to PCS (military move) in December. I teased her that I was going to follow her and live down the road. While they were house hunting, I continually asked if there was a neighboring house for me. She'd laugh and giggle, not really sure if I was serious or not. Her Mom thought
