We bought new couches when we got married. We chose ivory microfiber thinking we'd switch them out in 5 years or so. 7.5 years later, they're still here and looking rather shabby. These poor couches have seen it all--breast milk, vomit, urine and countless crumbs and juice spills. Yep. I am willing to bet you are dying to come on over and have a cup of tea. :) To make a long story short, on a last ditch effort to save our couches, I took the cushion covers off and washed them. They came out clean but also a faint shade of pink. The kicker is that he will pick up the couches on Thursday and return them the following Thursday. 1 week! That would NEVER happen in the good ole' USA! Now, I am keeping my fingers crossed that none of this was lost in translation ;)

It is such a cute book where this girl named "Pinkalicious" loves pink. She eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink, which she is thinks is simply beautiful then red, which is less than favorable. She eats her vegetables to turn alleviate her pain. In the meantime, her little brother is envious and devours the last one, then turns pink too. It is a ...

SO excited. I need to stock up on several things before I leave this land of amazing deals. Speaking of deals, you should take a photo of the purse Mark bought you. I never did get to see his selection ;)
