My head is spinning. We have had quite the weekend. It has been a busy one, more mentally/emotionally exhausting than physically. Here are a few things:
Our couches were returned Friday night--1 week and 1 day from pickup. Pretty amazing. The upholsterer did a great job. Very happy. I wasn't so sure about my color selection at first. It is kind of a goldy beige and coming from the ivory we once had, it was quite a change. I am coming to like the color as well. So far so good. Claire dripped water on them last night with no sign of it today. That is a far fetch from our experience with the microfiber fabric that we had which would show EVERYTHING.

My classes are killing me. Actually I should clarify, it isn't so much the classes, but the craziness at work, combined with the classes and then of course, my meager attempts to be a Mom and Wife. It has been stressful, but the end of this session is in sight. Then I am on my final downswing for this certification. Thank goodness!
My kindle went kaput! I am not sure what happened. When I retrieved it from my backpack, the screen was messed up. I could read the text on the bottom but the top was frozen. Strange. Chris got on line with the customer service agent and they are replacing it for free.
Our orders finally "dropped." We are headed to GERMANY! It was our #1 choice, so we are thrilled. Chris and I had dreamed of being stationed in Europe since the beginning of this journey, so we are happy, happy, happy that it is finally coming to fruition. HOWEVER, we had gotten our hearts set on Texas and being within driving distance to my family. Needless to say, my family isn't quite jumping up and down with excitement. I know they understand, but they really miss us. We miss them too. I want our kids to grow up together and know each other vs. being strangers. I am trying to work out the schedule for our summer as I felt like spending the entire summer together last year really helped. Hopefully it all comes together. 3 years. We'll be there for 3 years and then back to the States.
I was looking at the travel opportunities that will be at our fingertips. Amazing! France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Greece! I can't wait. I am so excited to see the world! I never dreamed I'd have this experience so I am will be taking it all in!

Love ya, j
The couches are better. I don't know why I didn't put my pillows on there. I am going to the fabric store this weekend to see if there is anything that catches my eye. The couches grow on you. I actually think they look pretty great now.
