More Scrapbooking

I have been on a mission this week. I am trying desperately to dig myself out of what feels like a never ending heap of pictures. I finished 4 more 2 page spreads. Yay!! Slowly, I will work backwards and hopefully, by the time Claire is 18, I will have her first 6 years scrapbooked.
I used to scrapbook with my sisters. Having another person to chat with, offer ideas to and get ideas from, made the whole process much more fun. I miss them. My friend, Erin, suggested a scrapbooking party. I think it is a fantastic idea and look forward to the company!

Yeah! I am so tired of scrapbooking alone and having to ask Josh "does this look good?" and having no one to teach me how to do different things or give me different ideas. Name a day and I will be there . . . my friend Jill (you met her at the wedding) would probably be interested too.

Erin,
I am glad you are up for the party. When would work best for you? After ski season??? Let me know and we can set something up. Of course Jill is welcome. The more the merrier. The guys can find something to entertain themselves. Give me some ideas about dates....

Erin,
I just read your comment from the previous scrapbooking post. When does ski season end?? March, April?? Sounds like Josh has the right idea in mind, although Chris would probably be in favor of adding a movie or something to the entertainment list.
Bring up the idea to Jill and see what dates would work well for her and I am going to invite my friend Heather. She just had a baby, so she too has pictures piling up.

Wow! Your scrapbook pages are great. I set up a blog, not quite sure how this works yet though.

A post

You wanted it, you asked for it, so here it is. A post. Hopefully this post will satisfy all your desires. I am not writing about the apple of my eye, Claire, but of the other apple of my eye--reality tv. I love it! Right now I am getting my fill of Big Brother. I have even lured Chris into my dark place. He mostly watched last season because Dick was such a jerk, but Chris is hooked. He's a dedicated viewer once again this season. Sadly, he was a fan of Matty who was kicked off a few weeks ago. I don't think I have a favorite. I find them all to be so obnoxious, yet I watch. Go figure. I obviously need some more excitement in my life. Girls who wear butt showing shorts, screaming matches, verbal abuse, crazy eyes, back stabbing, boys running around in their colored tighty whiteys (if tighty whiteys are colored, are they still called tighty whiteys?)---all in one episode! It is a gold mine. My second can't miss show is Housewives of Orange County or New York City. I really

Progress

I used to be prompt about scrapbooking in Claire's album. After seeing my sister's pictures piled up three children later, I was determined not to have the same fate. I am sure it is difficult for some of you to believe, but since Claire has been born, my free time has been limited. Really, it has. So, our pictures are finding their way into piles too--5 to be exact. However, I am thrilled to say that I finished (ok, they aren't completely finished, but nearly. I only have journaling to do.) six pages. Yes, that's right, I said SIX!! It was a major accomplishment. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Only 5 more months left to get through....any volunteers? Jessica???

Claire, Mya and the NEWS

Chris and I had this elaborate plan on how we were going to share the news with our girls. I ordered adorable shirts, which took forever to get here. They were supposed to ship Oct. 4, but didn't. I am not a patient soul at all. I love to share good news and spread the excitement. We went to a German doctor last week for a gender reveal ultrasound. He was 99% certain of his selection. Claire and I began looking at clothes online. She asked questions about why we were looking at baby clothing, but thankfully, my sister has a little guy and a baby girl who is due in December. They are my perfect excuses for all things baby! Claire asked nothing more and began pointing out things we should buy Jackson or the new baby girl. Our weekends typically involve partaking in a local event or just relaxing, which means a trip to the KMCC Mall. Saturday we went shopping or at least looking. Once again, the girls became excited, choosing items for Jackson or the new baby girl. I decided I cou
