Chris and I try to savor every awesome moment in life, knowing that things could change in a heartbeat. A major change is right around the corner, courtesy of the Air Force with another in one year. Chris is leaving for Korea in a couple of weeks. He's been downloading our home videos to his computer so he can watch and watch and watch them again. I, on the other hand, have been trying to take pictures of each and every little thing--not so much for him, but for our kiddos. We don't give Mya sweets or really junk of any kind, but we let her try some ice cream tonight. She was in heaven.

Through a very valuable (HA!--sense the sarcasm) inservice this year, I've learned that I am "Green," meaning logical, research based, problem solver, mathmatical thinker. I am applying the same thought and strategy to my 'get fit' adventure. There will be no relying on the treadmill to tell me how much I've burned. That thing lies, LIES, LIES!! Take for example, the fact that each time I worked out, I burned at least 300 calories--most often 350, my pulse was around 87 (which is pretty much a near death resting ...
