Every year for the 4th of July, my family buys matching shirts. It started out as kind of a corny joke, but now it is tradition. I like tradition. We celebrated in Bismarck as we typically do now that my Grandparents are deceased (my Grandpa's birthday was July 4, so growing up we spent the 4th in Tioga). The day was spent at the Mandan parade, then off to the Lake to my Aunt Pam and Uncle Rick's cabin for our family reunion. It was great spending time with a few of my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins whom I hadn't seen for years. We had a great time boating, swimming, visiting, eating and of course, watching fireworks and making smores over the fire. It was a great day.

Lots of help pushing baby Jackson. He was the center of Mya's attention. |

My nieces Olivia, Ava and nephew, Luke were so good at helping our kiddos with the parade candy. They lacked the quickness and aggressiveness required to claim their bounty, but with the added help, came out with plenty of loot. |

Poor Jackson. I promise she touches you only with love ;) |
