1 more to go!!!

I did it. I finished another class--Legal Issues in Special Education. Sidenote--there was a time in high school where I thought perhaps law was my calling. OMG. I am SOOOO glad I did not follow that route. It would have been a pain filled process. BOREDOM. While I absolutely HATED this class for no other reason that it was incredibly boring, I am THRILLED to say that I am done. Another A on the transcript and 1 more credit down. This means only my final project remains for my Autism certification! Hallelujiah! I have no idea on what my final project should focus, but the end of this road is near.

The funny thing was that I wasn't certain I could completed another area of certification while working full time, juggling 2 small children and basically, acting as a single parent 90% of the time. Such is life. It came, I did, and I have survived. Woo hoo! I am so happy right now.

That being said, there will be no happy dances. I have a paper to write for another class I am taking. The next pay lane is so close that I can almost taste it. I have taken 5 credits this year, which has been torture, but again, I am all about the (sing it with me) "Money, Money, Money!"

I see how it is, J. All about the cute, young faces. My old, wrinkly face will no longer suffice. Interesting. Very interesting.

A post

You wanted it, you asked for it, so here it is. A post. Hopefully this post will satisfy all your desires. I am not writing about the apple of my eye, Claire, but of the other apple of my eye--reality tv. I love it! Right now I am getting my fill of Big Brother. I have even lured Chris into my dark place. He mostly watched last season because Dick was such a jerk, but Chris is hooked. He's a dedicated viewer once again this season. Sadly, he was a fan of Matty who was kicked off a few weeks ago. I don't think I have a favorite. I find them all to be so obnoxious, yet I watch. Go figure. I obviously need some more excitement in my life. Girls who wear butt showing shorts, screaming matches, verbal abuse, crazy eyes, back stabbing, boys running around in their colored tighty whiteys (if tighty whiteys are colored, are they still called tighty whiteys?)---all in one episode! It is a gold mine. My second can't miss show is Housewives of Orange County or New York City. I really

Progress

I used to be prompt about scrapbooking in Claire's album. After seeing my sister's pictures piled up three children later, I was determined not to have the same fate. I am sure it is difficult for some of you to believe, but since Claire has been born, my free time has been limited. Really, it has. So, our pictures are finding their way into piles too--5 to be exact. However, I am thrilled to say that I finished (ok, they aren't completely finished, but nearly. I only have journaling to do.) six pages. Yes, that's right, I said SIX!! It was a major accomplishment. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Only 5 more months left to get through....any volunteers? Jessica???

Claire, Mya and the NEWS

Chris and I had this elaborate plan on how we were going to share the news with our girls. I ordered adorable shirts, which took forever to get here. They were supposed to ship Oct. 4, but didn't. I am not a patient soul at all. I love to share good news and spread the excitement. We went to a German doctor last week for a gender reveal ultrasound. He was 99% certain of his selection. Claire and I began looking at clothes online. She asked questions about why we were looking at baby clothing, but thankfully, my sister has a little guy and a baby girl who is due in December. They are my perfect excuses for all things baby! Claire asked nothing more and began pointing out things we should buy Jackson or the new baby girl. Our weekends typically involve partaking in a local event or just relaxing, which means a trip to the KMCC Mall. Saturday we went shopping or at least looking. Once again, the girls became excited, choosing items for Jackson or the new baby girl. I decided I cou
