Family

We had planned on heading to the Gartenshau last weekend, which is, from what I am told, a very neat park complete with pumpkin displays in an Underwater theme. I am working on my photography skills, so thought this would be a great opportunity for some pics of our kids. Sadly, it rained, so I opted for an in home photo shoot instead. Here are my most prized, most cherished possessions ;)  They melt my heart and fill me with pride. I love them so very, very much.

Lovely family! I noticed you wouldn't let me comment on your most recent post so here it goes! Going through a miscarriage isn't easy! I think about it often but also realize everything happens for a reason. The bitterness towards others who are pregnant is normal. All the tears, sadness, and pain was worth it when I finally got to hold my amazing boy! You will experience this joy again too! It will make you appreciate all of your blessings and will make you a better mom. I wish you weren't going through this, I know exactly how you feel. It does suck! Remember all that great advice you gave me to get out of my slump? Well apply it! Keep your chin up,keep the faith, and relax it will happen!

Oh Jessica,
You made me cry. Thanks for your words. I needed them. I know it will all go away and the sunny days will return. They do return. They have returned, but are clouded by these moments of funk. I miss the blue sky, sun shiny days where there is no cloud in the sky--if you know what I mean.
I am gland you've been there, well not really, but you know what I mean. It is easier for whatever reason.

Very sweet pics! Have you heard of Zulily.com? I'm pretty slow on the uptake, I know, but they have great deals on clothes and shoes for women and kiddos. Annnd I know how you love to shop ;)

I have an account with zulily ;) However, I never use it. I tend to go with my reliables for clothes and that is pretty much it. I like cute, cheap and sales--Carter's is it for kids, Gap sometimes and Old Navy. Those are our stand bys. I discovered NY and Company as well as Loft ships to APO's now, so those are my personal favs. ;) Lucky for Chris and our bank account, I am limited to only those who ship to APO priority.
As for you--Wrentham has a Carter's outlet and Mark could take in a Patriot's game at nearby Foxboro. Just an idea :)

2 weeks...

As I write this, my house is being cleaned and not by me. This is my favorite day of the week. There is nothing like going home to a clean house and smelling the bleach to know it is germ free as well. This is my second good day in a row! I took the day off yesterday. Claire didn't have school due to Fasching (German equivalent of Halloween--minus the door to door trick or treating), so I gave Mya the option of hanging out with us as well. She took some convincing, but later said she had a great day. I must admit that I was focused on giving my back a much needed break, so my morning consisted of napping and laying on the couch. Not my best parenting in action, but it did wonders for the rest of the day. We met Chris for lunch, then returned home to enjoy the sunshine before the girls' swimming lessons. It was in the 50's yesterday, absolutely gorgeous! It really is hard to believe that we made it through the entire winter with no snow. I think it snowed possibly 2 days, b

Progress

I used to be prompt about scrapbooking in Claire's album. After seeing my sister's pictures piled up three children later, I was determined not to have the same fate. I am sure it is difficult for some of you to believe, but since Claire has been born, my free time has been limited. Really, it has. So, our pictures are finding their way into piles too--5 to be exact. However, I am thrilled to say that I finished (ok, they aren't completely finished, but nearly. I only have journaling to do.) six pages. Yes, that's right, I said SIX!! It was a major accomplishment. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Only 5 more months left to get through....any volunteers? Jessica???
