I am a huge fan of online shopping. There is nothing better to me than the thrill of ordering something and having it arrive on my doorstep days letter. Each time a package arrives, I get a high similar to a child on Christmas. It is awesome. I do a lot of my shopping online. I recently discovered ebates.com. Love it. Their site connects you with the stores you want to shop, and you actually get a percentage of your purchase returned each quarter. Although .90 may not seem like much, it actually accumulates to be a pretty decent size amount. Can't wait until February when we get our first check. I also am a HUGE fan of etsy.com. I've been shopping on etsy for a little over a year. I love it. I mostly order baby gifts, decorative items, or things for our kids, but each item is hand made. I love creative people and love to support them. I have never purchased an item that actually looks hand made, which I love even more. It is high quality stuff. Anyway, I recently bought a couple of headbands and clips for my girls through Banner Boutique. They are so cute, but the rhinestones fell off upon arrival. Although it was nothing some glue couldn't fix, I was slightly disappointed (etsy is great, but it isn't a cheap place). Anyway, I left neutral feedback, saying I loved the clips, but disappointed that I had to repair them immediately given the price I paid. I was contact IMMEDIATELY by the owner who vowed to make me satisfied. That she did. A cute little package arrived yesterday and much to my delight, inside I found 2 more clips and 1 headband. What a sweetheart. They are great. Being in New England where sales associates aren't always the kindest people, I appreciate wonderful and prompt customer service. This is exactly what I received from Banner Boutique--not to mention some super cute hair things for our girls. Love them. Thankfully, my friend Erin had a baby before the holidays, so I will be returning to Banner Boutique to buy little Ruby some of their cuteness too. This will be my go-to place for baby gifts--girls only!

ohhh...I have been loving on esty.com as well and made many a purchase there for Christmas! I swear we are long lost twins. If I had a little girl I think I would have even less money because there are so many adorable things for children on that site! I love the Christmas clothes!!! You should take a ton of pictures of them in those dresses - I love them!

A post

You wanted it, you asked for it, so here it is. A post. Hopefully this post will satisfy all your desires. I am not writing about the apple of my eye, Claire, but of the other apple of my eye--reality tv. I love it! Right now I am getting my fill of Big Brother. I have even lured Chris into my dark place. He mostly watched last season because Dick was such a jerk, but Chris is hooked. He's a dedicated viewer once again this season. Sadly, he was a fan of Matty who was kicked off a few weeks ago. I don't think I have a favorite. I find them all to be so obnoxious, yet I watch. Go figure. I obviously need some more excitement in my life. Girls who wear butt showing shorts, screaming matches, verbal abuse, crazy eyes, back stabbing, boys running around in their colored tighty whiteys (if tighty whiteys are colored, are they still called tighty whiteys?)---all in one episode! It is a gold mine. My second can't miss show is Housewives of Orange County or New York City. I really

4 months

We are potentially down to our last four months in Korea. I say "potentially" because it rests solely on where we are going. If we are heading back to the States, we will most likely be leaving early June so that we can enjoy a full summer with family and have time to get settled before Claire begins school. We caught wind today of what could be our next assignment. Although it is far from official word, all of a sudden my tummy is filled with butterflies. I had the privilege of teaching a little first grade girl who was one of a set of quadruplets. They (she and her sisters) are the most delightful little girls. They are well behaved and truly beautiful inside and out. Anyway, their family was due to PCS (military move) in December. I teased her that I was going to follow her and live down the road. While they were house hunting, I continually asked if there was a neighboring house for me. She'd laugh and giggle, not really sure if I was serious or not. Her Mom thought

Progress

I used to be prompt about scrapbooking in Claire's album. After seeing my sister's pictures piled up three children later, I was determined not to have the same fate. I am sure it is difficult for some of you to believe, but since Claire has been born, my free time has been limited. Really, it has. So, our pictures are finding their way into piles too--5 to be exact. However, I am thrilled to say that I finished (ok, they aren't completely finished, but nearly. I only have journaling to do.) six pages. Yes, that's right, I said SIX!! It was a major accomplishment. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Only 5 more months left to get through....any volunteers? Jessica???
